HAVING OPTIONS

Bases are a great way to increase the size or change the purpose of a cold frame.

Purpose: Bases can be used optionally to add overall growing height to your cold frame or to create a raised bed.

Nominal Size: 4ft x 4ft (outer edge is approximately 50in x 50in)

Weight: approximately 50 lbs

Height: add approximately 6 inches

Material: currently made from rough cut lumber from the Tamarack tree

Thickness: approximately 2 inches

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Can be added and fastened relatively easily.

Can be replaced relatively easily if used strictly for adding growing height. If used for raised bed purposes, soil would have to be removed before detaching the cold frame.
